-169 If we learn about proven things in math, why should we learn the 'Pythagorean Therum', it's obviously not proven. amirite?

I'll say this as gently as I can... Are you an idiot? That's what a theorem is. It's something that you've proven. The Pythagorean Theorem is most definitely proven. It's one of the most useful equations you'll learn, especially if you do any kind of construction work. Math, unlike science, CAN prove things definitively, because it's man made. Science can't really definitively prove something, because the facts keep changing and being learned. In math, all that new discoveries can do is lead to new discoveries.
