It can be a little creepy when I find out people on this website like pokemon/ play computer ganes all the time, because I go on this website so it makes me think I might be like the sort of people I would probablt run away from in real life. Amirite?

Actually I'm the sort of person who got put off pokemon and digimon and everything else like it at an early age. It's nothing personal, I just got freaked out by how into them people got. I generally hang out with friends or read books instead.

Jessica, play nice... @7173: I just moved a couple months ago so I no longer live near my friends I would play video games with, but we would regularly get together and have LAN parties where we could sit around and talk while we played. Most of it was taunting but we can talk about normal things. One of the guys I would play with is a body builder and would take us out and let us shoot his guns sometimes, so it's not like we're all fat slobs who only drink Mountain Dew and eat Pizza Pockets.

I didn't stereotype as much as word it in a way that left some ambiguity as to exactly who I was referring to. I have geeky friends to and I think they're great, but I also know people who would prioritise something like Pokemon over talking to someone who is making an effort to have a conversation with them even though noone else wants to be their friend.

There is a girl in my class who spends her lunches writing fan fiction. Seriously. And designing her rocket ship, with proper diagrams, for when she takes over the world. This is all freaky but just about ok. What is not ok is that when I tried to talk to her she was really rude and then just ignored me. I know someone else who writes fan fiction and she's nice but in a I just want to be popular way. Do you see now why I would not want to be like the sort of people who write that stuff?
