I think this post is funny because it sort of sounds like you are saying that it's tough to do well in school UNLESS you smoke, drink and get pregnant.

Not doing most bad things doesn't give you an excuse to do a bad thing. You can be perfect other than not brushing your teeth and people will find you gross regardless of the fact that you don't smoke drink or get pregnant AND do well in school. (Because pregnant people don't miss a lot of school) Just like most people would find you not brushing your teeth gross, your mom probably finds a messy room gross regardless of how perfect a child you are.

This post makes you sound like you are spoiled. Anyway, you can do this with anything if you name things that are worse. Here's an example. " mom needs to stop complaining that I steal money too much. At least I don't do meth or murder babies"

There will always be soemthinf to complain about. Mothers just can't let themselves be happy if they're not in a fairy tale, and even then it's iffy. Say you did everything right. " then why the FUCK don't you win a Nobel prize?!"

I said the same thing until I realized my high grades aren't benefiting me any more than mediocre ones and if I drank and did drugs, I might actually have friends. :D
