If one person does or doesn't want to do something that will affect other people because of their own personal feelings, its called selfish. If a bunch of people do the same thing its called 'the good of all', amirite?

As it should be. Disregarding feelings for one person is for the good of one person whereas doing it for the everyone is for the good of all

That's because it isn't for one person. It actually is, for the most part, "good of all"
