No shit. It's evolution. In a perfect world (biology-wise) a male could impregnate a female every 20 or so minutes, and ensure maximum continuity of his genes. In the same perfect world, a female would only be able to pass on her genes every 9 months. That's why our brains are wired so that guys want sex so much more often, and think in whatever way will enable us to have more sex. Remember that we evolve based on tribal values, when men and women both were only interested in passing on good genes, no personality, no personal likes/dislikes.
