by Anonymous13 years ago

by Anonymous14 years ago
for one, we dont talllkkk likee thisss;;; like, yeah
by Anonymous14 years ago
Win.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Trollin'?
by Anonymous13 years ago
The school cheerleaders don't do any of that either. The most I've ever seen them do is make a pyramid.
by Anonymous13 years ago
your school's cheer squad must suck then. our entire cheer squad can do back tucks, back handsprings, etc.
by Anonymous13 years ago
that's normal for just about every cheerleading squad. A pyramid is out of the ordinary
by Anonymous13 years ago
You must have a small squad, My cheer team is huge and we don't do shit cuz no one can. There's a couple girls who can do the splits and back handsprings, but their skill are useless.
by Anonymous13 years ago
i mean there's like 25 girls and one guy on varsity... so not really..
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh yeah. All colorguards do is throw rifles and sabres in the air and catch them gracefully. It's just as hard.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't say that's harder than throwing a girl up in the air and catching her, or being the girl that's thrown and doing flips.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Color guraads.....
Nice.
by Anonymous13 years ago
How old are you?
by Anonymous13 years ago
The whole "class" part is debatable. You'd be surprised...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Colorguard works a hell lot harder than cheerleaders.
by Anonymous13 years ago
..............please, I would love to hear how in the world they work harder than cheerleaders. Really. I'm all ears.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It may be hard to believe but they work their butts off. If you saw and smelled how sweaty and stinky they get you would understand how much they actually do.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I never said they didn't work hard. I'm sure they do. But you're probably also one of those people who don't consider cheerleading a sport.
Like I said, yes, colorguard works hard, but cheerleaders do, too.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I think cheerleading is a sport and I know they work pretty dang hard too, but I'm pretty sure the colorguard works harder.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm not being condescending, but I'd really like to hear your logic on that.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm in band so I see what they do. They practice even more during the summer than the band does, at least at my school. In rehearsals they run and dance and do their flag stuff quite a bit. I can see why you would think the cheerleaders work harder but I don't think they do.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Your profile pic. looks like a euphonium, so I automatically approve of you.
by Anonymous13 years ago
And you approve of me so I approve of you.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Woot! Have I found myself a fellow euphonium player?
by Anonymous13 years ago
You sure have! I know it sometimes seems like you're alone, but you're not.
by Anonymous13 years ago
"If you saw and smelled how sweaty and stinky they get..."
Yeah that sounds classy.
by Anonymous13 years ago
As a national champion in cheerleading and a state champion in color guard I am going to say that color guard is harder.
by Anonymous13 years ago
People who go to school are like drop outs, but with class.
by Anonymous13 years ago
OMG I H8 THE POPLAR KIDS </3 AND IM SOOOOOO MUCH BETTR THEN THEM
by Anonymous13 years ago
Throwing flags up in the air with 20 mph winds //and// catching them is wayyyyyyy more impressive than doing a lopsided cartwheel.
by Anonymous13 years ago
THE COLORGUARD THROWS THE FLAGS IN THE AIR? Oh my. That is dangerous. What if they drop the American flag!?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I really can't tell if you're trolling or just a moron.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I could say the same to you...
Do you know what a colorguard is?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_guard
I think this person was thinking of flag twirlers.
by Anonymous13 years ago
In the context of this post, they are talking about a color guard such as one in a marching band, not a military color guard.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This person is part of the color guard.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Cheerleaders throw other cheerleaders in the air.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Dropping a flag is worse than dropping a person.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not the cheerleaders I've seen.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wish I could say the same about the guard at our school.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Color gaurd= ugly reject girls.
At least at my school it does
by Anonymous13 years ago
Same here as well
by Anonymous13 years ago
same at mine and all of the other high schools in colorado i know of..
by Anonymous13 years ago
At my school at least, the cheerleaders are definitely classier than the colorguard girls. Which is saying quite a bit.
by Anonymous13 years ago
At my. Current school, most of the guard are cheerleaders. At my old school, most of the guard was white trash. So no.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Me guarantees ya that throwing a girl in the air and catching her with her foot in synchronization with another girl catching her other foot is a lot harder than twirling your little flag.
by Anonymous13 years ago
As somebody that has done both tossing the flag is harder in my opinion.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well at my school half the guard members are cheerleaders. The guard wins tons of awards, are actually in shape, and practice twice a day plus weekends. The non-guard cheerleaders are chunky and the "team" has a thirty minute practice consisting of 20 teenage girls arguing over position.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Both colorgaurd and cheerleading require a lot of hard work, practice, and skill. There's no point for everyone to argue about it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I definitely think it's different at every school but they can't really be compared. They are very different.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Colorguard girls are pretty much cheerleaders with a fat ass, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not even close..
by Anonymous13 years ago
Ehh, the cheerleaders and the band get along at my school because the student section and the footballl team are so crappy we have no choice. I appreciate them because they somehow manage to get their hair to defy gravity, and they make our school look less nerdy. We win over them, though, because they don't compete, whereas the guard cmpetes with the band in the summer and fall, and in WGI in the winter and spring.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Just throwing this out there: cheerleading may be difficult and a strenuous physical activity, fine. But it is NOT a sport. There is no objective other than to look good. No scoring. Therefore no sport.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't consider cheerleading a sport either, but there's competition cheer that involves scoring.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I like how this post doesn't have to do with which one is harder yet that's what all the comments are about. But since we're on this topic as I mentioned before I've done both and you really can't compare the two.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's clear that not all color guard/cheer leading groups work the same way, so it's impossible to compare.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why didn't anyone bother to ask why OP said that cheerleaders have no class?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because it's sort of obvious?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why? Because they wear short skirts ?
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's a combination of things lol
by Anonymous13 years ago
See I'm on the Guard Team and we work extremely Hard. We work from March all the way to November and our Practice days in the Summer are from 7 in the morning to 9 at night. Colorguard girls don't fit the stereotypes people make for them, there not ugly, fat, un classy, losers. There fit, pretty, and extremely classy. So everyone who says they don't work hard SHUT UP! Cheerleaders work hard to but I'm gonna have to say Guard has them beat.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Colorguard is just as hard as cheerleading.I been in colorguard and Cheer for 4 years. We just dont toss flags, rifles, and sabers with ease. There been so many competitions were flags, rifles, and sabers were tossed and hit someone in the head and knocked them out cold, Sprang their hands, busted their toes on accident. With Cheerleading people fall and break their ankle or fall straight on their face.So they are both difficult.
