Why should it be its own company? It's owned by Pepsi, what reason does Pepsi have to give it up?

Because if you notice, pepsi for one advertises mountain dew more then it does pepsi. Mountain dew in comercials, mountain dew as a vending machine in the movie transformers. Mountain dew logos on semi trucks. And not only that but the energy drinks amp? Look at them. On the back of amp energy drinks they have mountain dew ensignia on the back. Amp green stands for mountain Dee original. Amp red stands for mountain dew code red. Amp orange stands for mountain dew live wire. Amp purple stands for mountain dew black which is grape flavor. Pepsi is the company that makes mountain dew. But they do all their advertisement and growth of income and new products through mountain dew. So mountain dew should be it's own company.

Of course I know how companies work. Did no one see the, mountain dew SHOULD be it's own company? The thought here is that mountain dew is better than dr. pepper. But pepsi doesn't hardly advertise any of it's other drinks... Just mountain dew. Why? Cause mountain dew is the best. See what i'm getting at? A huge line of energy drinks are created after mountain dew. With the mountain dew label on it. Not a pepsi label. Mountain Dew! So why would pepsi corporation not do that through any of it's other products? Because there best seller is mountain dew. It catches more eyes. It looks cooler it sales better and it taste best!!

Why would Pepsi give up their best selling drink? That makes absolutely no sense at all. That would only cause them to lose money.
