Hehe, not sure if you're trolling, but I'll respond seriously anyway for now. It's just not that simple. There are certain pieces of each human's personality that makes up who they are. I like to think of it as something of a puzzle. In order for a relationship to work with another and make a pretty picture, certain pieces just have to fit together. The pieces required to fit together to form a strong friendship and a healthy romantic relationship may seem similar, but sometimes are different enough where some may work as a friends, but not as a couple.

i HATE that. yesterday i was talking to my guy friend and somebody goes "will you two just fuck already?!" made the whole entire rest of the day awkward.

Nope. We just say no and go back to our conversation. Unless you mean an acquaintance of the opposite sex, then sometimes yes. Usually when you like the other person.
