+265 If elementary school gets you ready for middle school, middle school gets you ready for high school, high school gets you ready for college, and college gets you ready for life, then what the heck does life get you ready for? amirite?

"college gets you ready for life" makes it seem like life is a sure thing.. when it's always changing. just getting through college doesn't mean you'll be prepared for life. i also think that life is non stopping until you die. for example, i'm in high school, and i'm still experiencing life outside of my education..

I think it goes more like: elementary school gets you ready for middle school, middle school gets you ready for high school, high school gets you ready for college, college gets you ready for a career, a career gets you ready for retirement, and retirement gets you ready for death.

So technically, elementary school gets you ready for death and hell..

All of your premises are false. Public schools are only free baby sitting service. They don't get you ready for anything. They used to teach arithmetic, but they don't even teach that any more. They teach guessing now.
