I was trying to save a person from drowning once, I was very young so I couldn't stand in the water, they were panicking so they shoved me underwater to keep their head up and were thrashing me around. I was under water for about a good 5 minutes and I was panicking as well. -__-

Yeah. It took forever for my parents to stop talking to their friends and notice that the screams weren't of joy.

Three different times people have messed around to a dangerous extent and almost caused me to drown.

I was right.

I was afraid of water when I was five but then I decoded to go into the deep end of a pool. I almost drowned, and my fear was cured.

I once had a laughing fit while in the ocean, which meant I was half drowning 'cause I couldn't swim properly. The fact that I was drowning because of laughing made me laugh even harder which is the weirdest thing I've laughed at since I'm basically laughing at the fact that I'm dying.

I was on a floatie at a waterpark and I wanted to float all the way to the deep end (which was 8 ft.) and back. I kicked off at the beginning, floated to the end, and then kicked off and started floating back. But my brother saw me and wanted to be a dick so he pushed me back to the deep end, but not far enough so I could kick off again. Luckily my dad saw me and sent a lifeguard out to save me, or I would have been done. I'm not a strong swimmer so I could have never swam all the way back.

I almost drowned when I was about six. The lifeguard didn't even notice and a teacher had to save me. But now I'm a lifeguard at that pool and I've saved four people :)

First time surfing. Multiple times I thought I was drowning. Surfing is oodles more difficult than it looks.

I guess so and that's how I learned how to swim in the deep. When I was like 5 or 6 my dad held me in the pool and then swam to the deep part and let me go; I was basically going up and down and panicking and almost drowning and he, along with my older brother and older cousins, were just staring at me telling me I could do it, and I was like "fuck you fuck you all im drowning bitches HELP YOU MOTHAFUKAS" (ok I didn't exactly say those words). And that's how parents here teach their kids how to swim lol, and I'm really grateful my dad did that cause I became a really good swimmer.

I was at the beach once when there was a strong current, and I went a bit over my head. I can swim, but not the strong and there were waves that were rather large, so I asked a man only like, 2 feet away from me to pull me in. Instead of pulling me in, which he could have easily done my taking a step forward and reaching out an arm, he decided to yell for a lifeguard

I got trapped underneath a kayak when I was ten and couldn't get out... nobody noticed for ages and I honestly thought I was going to die. But yeah, still here.
