Oh, FFS, it's just a damn word. I have black friends who don't give 2 shits if I say "nigger", and I don't give a damn if you say "faggot" or "that's gay." How about... How about we stop getting so damn offended over a fucking WORD... And MAYBE, just MAYBEEE, we'll live in a more peaceful world, that you probably want to have. No word is offensive by itself. It's only offensive when used in an offensive manner. Nigger can be offensive, obviously, if I call a black person it. But it's not offending anyone if black people are just calling each other it. Same goes for fuck. If I said "fuck you" that would be offensive, but if I said "this fuckin sucks", it's not offending anyone. It's all in the way you use it.

If you mean it in an offensive way then it is EXACTLY the same as calling someone a fucker or bastard. I'm black and I have a lot of friends both black and white who say it because we don't give the word power over us. Even if someone walked up to me and said "you effing niggar" and ment it I would just laugh because the word is just a word to me. I guess cuss words are only offensive when they are meant to offend someone. I mean, i grew up where if you said nigger, you were shunned from society pretty much... just because what the, um, i guess "History", was behind it. Same with cunt because it was offensive towards women. I don't think those words are cuss words, just not appropriate in some situations. Like, when that guy from Seinfield (was that the show, idk) did that stand up comedy thing. That was uncalled for i think.
