The past is KNOWN to us and we can choose to interpret it any way we like. The present requires self knowledge and introspection which we may not be fully comfortable with or aware of. The future represents our dreams but also exposes our view of ourselves, self esteem, courage, and imagination. These aspects of ourselves may be underdeveloped or poorly conceived. When given the option... the past is always the easiest perspective to have or fake...
