Everyone knows the coolest of the kids only know about being cool and up to date as opposed to being cultured. America is the coolest kid.

We've got holidays of our own, sports that are popular here but relatively unpopular in other countries, different dialects, and changes to food and other cultural aspects form elsewhere. We're pretty cultural, it's just a blend of others with new things added.
