Are you implying to be Asian you MUST be Chinese, Japanese and/or Korean (as in East Asia)? Asian is not exclusive to East Asian. There is Southeast Asia (Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia), South Asia (India, Bangladesh), West Asia (Iran, Iraq) and Central Asia (Tajikstan). Just because the dominant image of Asia in the world is East Asian, it doesn't mean they are the only Asians. Geographically, they are Asian. Now if you want to get technical, then many Indians are Caucasian (as with the Middle East).
