Trendy names are annoying. What happened to the simplicity of names like John and Jim? Now it's like Braydon, Brayden, Bradin, Braydyn, Breydan. amirite?

I'd rather have a unique name than a boring ordinary one. And by unique I don't mean Shadiquatilatequila. Just something that's spelled a little different but not in a horrifying way.

So, maybe I'm completely off, but I think the poster is saying that people today are over complicating the spelling of simple names. It's not saying that common names are better, but if the name is common, it should be spelled normal.
