+232 High school teachers have the worst job ever, the students never give them a chance and treat them like shit, amirite?

Almost everyone at my school had a decent relationship with their teachers. There was of course some students who refused to be a part of the school system, but for the most our teacher to student bonds were really well established. If I was a teacher there, I would feel like I had a great job. But I suppose that's not always the case.

At my school, there's an even balance of horrible and amazing teachers. The amazing ones obviously get along great with the students. There's a lot of respect going both ways with those teachers. For the crappy ones, students just fail the class. There are only a few teachers that warrant intentional bad behavior. The others just get annoyed because none of the students care about that class, no matter how much it seems like they're paying attention.

Depends on where you teach.

Jane your pretty much right but some teachers are exceptions, for example at my school the psychology teacher has rockstar status and the physics teacher has a cult following. But most are treated like shite

I think middleschool would be worse.

The school I go to is very very small and we have the same teacher from age twelve until we either graduate or move away (it's usually move away) we all have a lot of respect about our teachers and we are all really close. We really like our teachers have a lot of respect for them. Maybe it's just the fact it's an international school instead of a normal high school and we don't live in America
