+203 It feels good to eat something grown from your garden, because you know that is it all natural, and there were no chemicals added, amirite?

We have a garden, with herbs, tomatoes, and lettuce, our neighbor has a garden with strawberries, blueberries, pumpkins, carrots and some other things. But we share, we have made pasta sauce, pesto and and whatnot. Its awesome.

When I was little, I was convinced that I'd have my own huge garden where I grew all of my food because the thought of grocery stores using chemicals as pesticides, fast food places using things like bugs for food coloring or whatever, and spiteful restaurant chefs spitting/sweating/bleeding into my food freaked me out. But then I realized I don't really care. It still feels great eating something you planted yourself, though! We have a small vegitable garden in our backyard, and it all tastes pretty good!
