I don't know. It's definitely unfortunate. Probably pointless, too. But think about it: People don't understand homosexuality, and so they call it dumb and disgusting and wrong. I don't understand homophobia. I don't understand how someone could honestly care and be bothered that much by something that doesn't affect them. I don't understand it. But if I call them stupid and wrong, then aren't I just doing the exact same thing?

homophobia isn't a choice. phobia means 'a fear of'. its the same as you being scared of spiders or heights, you can't just choose to not be like that

usually when someone calls someone "homophobic" they don't mean they have a clinical fear of gay people, they just mean that the so called "homophobe" hates gay people, and hating people for their sexual orientation *is* stupid and pointless.
