+829 When you were a little kid, you just assumed that all four of the wheels on a car were powered, not just the front two, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I honestly assumed that until 6 seconds ago when I read this post.

THE BACK WHEELS AREN'T POWERED???? O.O My whole life has been a lie.....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@582465 (Starfire): same. Dx

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Umm its the back tires that r powered not the front... just saying

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some cars are rear-wheel drive, but most cars are front wheel. Some cars are also four wheel drive. So whether this post is right to you depends on what kind of car you have, but the majority of cars are front two wheel drive.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, in the US, well over half are rear wheel powered. Almost al sedans, along with big SUV's.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

WAIT SO LIKE, 4 wheel drive is when all of them are powered ? MIND. BLOWN. (Sorry to sound like MLIA)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

AND, I just asked my daddy about this, and apparently only the back of the bike wheels are the only one's that have a chain attached.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When I was a kid, I knew it was just one axle, but I always thought it was the back....took me a while to know that it can be both.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i really hope all you people arnt actually this stupid...goddamn...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love how this is the last comment. Well for now.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So what if I am? I don't know anything about cars and honestly couldn't care less. My ENTIRE life has been a LIE! MIND. BLOWN. I just annoyed you with all those spaces! And yes, I'm an avid MLIA reader. Haha!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Especially since it's usually the back two not the front

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Front wheel drive: front wheels are powered Rear wheel drive: back to wheels are powered. Four wheels drive: all wheels r powered

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was about to comment freaking out about this but reading the comments I've discovered that my point has pretty much been covered.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A lot of cars are 4-wheel drive..
