I agree. I hate them too. Also the green and yellow ones. Taste and smell awful.

Are you saying that green/yellow/orange peppers are OK? They are the same plant and so you could probably just say red peppers to mean the full ripening cycle, but semantics aside I often hear people say they like the other colors but not red peppers. That seems to me like eating unripened fruit, but I so often find myself standing alone in the fight for red peppers. If you don't like any color of pepper then I can't say much to that, but I was really hoping to find a contentious debate on pepper color preference... (PS you're talking about Bell Peppers, right?)
