Americans: As soon as a post says "mum" or "arse", you re-read it in a British accent. amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm American and I say mum...
by Anonymous14 years ago
I call my mom "mum" sometimes jokingly. :P
But okayy. Haha.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I only say it because I don't like the way mom sounds.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ahh so you're one of those annoying americans who try desperately hard to be british all the time. Do you also have tea and crumpet parties?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm English and i've never had a tea and crumpet party, and neither has anyone i know.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't try desperately to be British, I have just had many British influences and something have just rubbed off on me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Also colour and marvilous (sp?).
by Anonymous14 years ago
Also colour, darling, and marvilous (sp?).
by Anonymous14 years ago

Well I guess i can see what you mean by the marvelous one :o
by Anonymous14 years ago
Marvellous
by Anonymous14 years ago
Like when they say darling it sounds like 'dolling', I don't know when ever I read the word darling I think of a brit. saying it.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Being a Brit, i hardly say mum, i usually say mam, might just be me though.
by Anonymous13 years ago
are you a northerner, perhaps?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Aye
by Anonymous13 years ago
I say all posts in a British accent, and have to re-read ones that say 'mom' and 'ass'.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You mean an English accent?
by Anonymous13 years ago
No shit mr smartass.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well British could mean a Welsh Or Scottish accent is what I meant. British accent doesn't mean English accent. I'm British, but I don't have any sort of English accent.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Also there are loads of different English accents.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because everyone is either British or American lol.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No, which is why this post is SPECIFICALLY slated towards Americans...so why would any other nationality vote?
by Anonymous13 years ago
My point is that why target it towards Americans, instead of everyone that isn't British?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Nahh. I just automatically assume the OP is British or Australian.
