+433 You wonder how deaf people feel when they're first told that there's an entire other sensation that they'll never get to experience, amirite?

Hmm. How does one even explain the concept of sound to a person who was deaf from birth? I mean, it's been done obviously, but I can't figure out how I would.

I know ASL and have talked to many deaf people. Most of them became deaf at a very young age. They know there is a whole different sense. They say they hear through their eyes. It is very simple.
