Dude, you've obviously never been to North Carolina. Geography doesn't matter so much as culture, and our culture is very much Southern.

Actually North Carolina is a Southern State (it's south of the Mason Dixon line) I have to admit bieng from the south has truely spoiled me in regards to what i eat. I visited friends once in NJ and almost died when i found out what scapple was, and that french toast didn't just consist of a couple of pieces of whitebread with som milk and eggs to batter... OMG it's HUGE Texas toast. I have to admit I'm ashamed because living in the south I should have known this... did you know hot tea and dry toast cure a hang over??? bet al i had ever seen...

Southern food is all fatty and greasy food they deep fry everything they can thats why when u get below s.carolina u start seein all them heavy mommas down there, the foods great down there the peoples health and appearence down there not so much.

With southern food if you eat it your entire life chances are you're gonna just drop dead 'cause the solidified fat blocked your heart, I mean hell we fry freaking veggies down here. But that could be what makes it soo fudging yummy
