Why? Then the background would be random roads, fields and houses, instead of a smooth dark background.

yeah lol this summer i was flying back home on the fourth and everyone seriously said "Whoah, that will be cool you will see the fireworks from overhead." but my flight was to early in the day. also it was ironic because i was flying back from Washington D.C.

Saw it from the airplane on my way back from vacation. Weird thing is, I have no idea what they were celebrating..It was like the beginning of August.

Yeah, I saw them from a plane on 4th of July this year. It was really cool.

They look exactly the same as from the ground, above, or from any angle. Fireworks are actually spheres, so from every angle it shoots out the same, but because of our perception, it seems like it is only shooting in one direction.
