Go crawl in a hole and die.

Lemme guess, you only think this because of The Last Song, which by the way, the movie is nothing like the book.
Also, you probably haven't read his other books, and they're just decent. I like The Last Song because it's just the cliche "summer love that turns into true love" story that nearly everyone who reads at my age likes.

I'm such a troll for pointing out the truth.

I think they were going off "The Notebook"

(:)): Ah yes, that one too. Those are his most famous right now, also dear John,

I just got done reading The Lucky One. I love his books, but I wouldn't say he's the best of all time. Oh and to that person up there, stop being such a prick. She didn't say anything about The Last Song. People these days...

I'm TOTALLY a prick. Considering how terribly this post was written, they are either a teenage girl (many were exposed to Sparks through The Last Song) or a careless younger adult(also likely exposed through the Last Song), thus leading to the assumptions I made in my comment.

I'm just glad you didn't say Stephanie Meyer.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I love his novels, but they all end up the same. Someone always dies or breaks up.

He has the same template for every story he's written... It gets boring after a while. So, no. Cecilia Ahern is a bit better but I don't read a lot of romance novels from other authors so I'm not one to judge.

Best romantic author has to be Sarah Dessen
by Anonymous13 years ago
Most of his novels are based on something that has happened in his life(or his wife, The Notebook was about her grandparent)another was about his sister and her battle with cancer.... Three weeks with my brother is his memoir...Great book.

He's good. He's not the best to me but, yeah. I actually live near him. He's a total douche. Not even lying. His wife is nice though.
by Anonymous13 years ago
He's good but all of his books are too much alike. I tried reading the Notebook, and I personally couldn't finish it. Sorry, but he's overrated I think
