You would hate it if your middle name became your first name, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I dont have a middle name.
by Anonymous14 years ago
me neither
by Anonymous14 years ago
my middle name and my first name are the same
by Anonymous14 years ago
(same same same): is your last name also the same
by Anonymous14 years ago
Hannah.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Haha that's my first name!
by Anonymous13 years ago
by Anonymous13 years ago
My middle name is my mums name, so I would love it:)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'd be Rebekah (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'd be Elizabeth, and I've always loved that name.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's what I would be too :) If changing middle names to first names happened, I have a feeling there woukd be A LOT of Elizabeths walking around.
by Anonymous13 years ago
There would be a ton of Maries too. I feel like half the girls I know have the middle name Marie.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree! I have a bunch of friends with Marie haha :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
And Nicole.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It would be confusing, but I wouldn't HATE it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I would be nameless- which I'm pretty sure I'd hate.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Jean :/
I just don't look like a "Jean".
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't think anyone under 40 does.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You have the same middle name as Hermione Granger :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yep! That's why I'm proud of it as a middle name :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
My family calls my brother by his middle name. He was named after my dad. We call him Timmy.
by Anonymous13 years ago
My brother goes by his middle name too, he also has the same name as my dad. But they both go by their middle names.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't mind, but I have a friend that gave their kid a very long traditional name of some sort. My friends and I had competitions to see who could pronounce it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
"Hey Wulfric Percival Brian, how you doing?"
by Anonymous13 years ago
I would be Leah, and I love that name. :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't hate it, but I would definitely not enjoy it... I'd end up being Ashley.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'd have my mom's name, which could be confusing. But Caron IS a pretty name.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lynn. Hell no.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Me too! It's flows pretty well with my first name, but if it was actually my first name I think I'd die.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Chelsea Lynn-ok. Lynn Whatever.... Not ok.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't (Ester. Just no.), but I know plenty of people who go by their middle names.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I like Ann more than Raquel so I'd be fine with it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hey stop complaining. Mines yurivna. Yeah no joke. Slavic tradition or something to take the dads name and and few to letters to make it girlly.
Yurivna.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh Юрьевна? Haha that's not a middle name at all! A middle name is completely different from an очество (a patronymic).
by Anonymous13 years ago
but thats what my middle name is listed as.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's wrong, then. Seriously. It's not your middle name, you don't have one. Your parents must've not known what a middle name was when they moved...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Good Von. All my Slavic friends have the same thing.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes, that's what all Slavic people do INSTEAD of a middle name. They haven't got a middle name whatsoever, that's specifically an English thing to do. I'm Russian myself, I KNOW.
I even remember asking my dad exactly this when we moved: "On forms with 'First name: Middle name: Last name:' what does Middle Name mean? Is it the очество?" He said its not at all that. They're completely separate things. Americans have no patronymic and Russians have no middle name. That goes for all of their similar countries: England for America and Ukraine for Russia, etc.
by Anonymous13 years ago
dude.. i was born here. My birth certificate says middle name: Yurivna. i think i know my middle name.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oic, then you probably just don't understand what a patronymic is at all... Sorry for assuming.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lol yeah I have no idea what you're talking about. :P
by Anonymous13 years ago
My middle name is an adjective.
by Anonymous13 years ago
DiPronio? No thank you.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't have a name.
by Anonymous13 years ago
"Ivan" :l
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't mind being called Ann :)
by Anonymous13 years ago
Angel. Well considering I'm a boy, meh
by Anonymous13 years ago
jocelyn.... meh
by Anonymous13 years ago
Anne. Eh... I guess I'd be able to live with it. But I like Kinsey a lot better.
