About what people are reading? I don't know, if they were my friend I would want to know. Maybe you don't have too much experience with that type of thing?

I always assume it's their book they have to read for class, which isn't interesting information anyways, amirite?

Well, that might be what you assume, but I have friends who like to read other than their books for class, and I like to ask in case I had read it or something and we could talk about it. Really there was no reason for you to start this. Just because you don't care doesn't mean I don't.
