Spacers should not be considered ear rings, they should be considered self-mutilation, amirite?

The voters have decided that amiwriter is right! Vote on the post to say if you agree or disagree.

Wouldn't getting a regular piercing also count as self-mutilation? You are sticking a piece of metal through your ear.

I think they're fine until the point that they'd flap when you run.

No, the correct term is plugs/tunnels/tapers and it's called stretching.
My boyfriend is really anal about people using the right terminology. :x

Yeah, but that's not the right terminology.
It's okay, though.
A lot of the tards who get them don't even know proper terminology. Hahh. c:

With spacers, you aren't mutilating yourself, you're just stretching the skin of your ear.

They are gross though

Those things are disgusting.
The lady that did my cartilage piercing agrees, and she's a professional tattoo artist/body piercer.

If they're done on a smaller proportion, like this: Image in content , I think they look good.

No way. Gauges are hot; as long as they aren't freakishly huge.

agreed! i think they're alright but i knew a guy who had a huuge one, he took it out once and the hole in his earlobe was massive, it was pretty disgusting.

It's not a mutilation, it's called a body modification.

gauges aren't hot at all. theyre mutilation modifications... like plastic surgery?
