Especially if your orthodontist wasn't very careful about removing your braces, so you have to lie there for an hour while the dentist chips cement off your teeth.

Especially when they mess up in the process and maul the roof of your mouth... and attempt to nonchalantly stick cotton in your mouth like nothing happened.
