+369 Since Harry Potter takes place in England, it would make the most sense for Potter Land to be built there instead, amirite?

What themeparks do they have there?

There's more Harry Potter fans in the US than in England

I'm sure glad it wasn't

Let's face it, the British wouldn't know how to handle an iconic franchise if it slapped them in the face (which Harry Potter did). US companies are basically responsible for Harry Potter's worldwide success. WB, EA Games, Scholastic, Universal, etc. Kudos to JKR for writing the series, I guess.

No, because it wouldn't be as special there. It is cool for it to be in America because it we don't have lots of castles (or British accents) like they do in England. It is more fun for the park to be in someplace totally the opposite of England, like Florida.

I'm going there for the first time tomorrow!

It would make more sense....but since I live in the US, I want it here. Call me selfish. ;)

Americans will be no waying this because they want the theme park to be closer to them haha.

It'd be waaaaay more accessible for me if it were in England. Traveling to the US is hard, while I go to Europe every freaking year.
