Mine can't pronounce v's. But he can say 'aflack,' 'whatcha' doin,' 'goodbye,' 'hello,' 'grandma,' and 'what's your problem,' which is almost as good.

What type of parrot is it? Just curious. i own 6 parrots. 4 of them are parakeets, a green cheek conure, and an african grey parrot. My green cheek and Grey both talk. My green cheek says, mickey (which is his name), Emma (my name) and i love you! My African grey has a large vocabulary. African Greys are known for their amazing ability to talk. My African grey says, princess (her name) hello, where's mommy, and she whistles. She also tells the other birds to shut-up when they scream, if you knock on something she says "come in!" And when you leave the house sometimes she says, See ya later! A few days ago, she said, i'll be back, then started going down the stairs like she was leaving!
