http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=8343 That basically lays the gateway theory to rest. Its all on the individual if they decide to do harder drugs. I have been smoking weed for quite sometime now and I still have no desire whatsoever to know that meth feels like or anything else like that.

That's nice. The article also says "However, it is clear that the culture surrounding marijuana prohibition – which inherently exposes marijuana consumers to pushers of other illicit substances – likely plays a role" so, just because you may or may not think that marijuana is a gateway drug, this guy is saying that it's illegal status might be the reason people are trying harder drugs
