+101 When people say "unbelievable," they always mean it in a good way, it's rarely actually used as "something not thought to be the truth," amirite?

That's because when used in a negative term, it is more commonly said, "un-f***ing-believable"

It's never used like that because "something not thought to be truth" is "untrue" or "lie", not "unbelievable". "Unbelievable: Not able to be believed; unlikely to be true" For example a kid lifting a car. Or a kid murdering his whole family with a knife.
