+433 Six Billion Secrets is not only depressing to read, but it's just the same sob story again and again about girls who cut themselves, feel as if they are fat/ugly and/or boy friends who left them. And then 1/5th of all posts are different girls saying that everyone is beautiful and people love them and to quit cutting or whatever else it is they do. amirite?

Could it be because they get TEASED for it all the time? Or the fact that some of them are SUICIDAL? Or I don't know, raped or abused when they were little?

I find it hard to believe that people actually go to that site regularly.

i didn't know what that site was and when i went on i only lasted abput 2 minutes before i either wanted to punch someone in the face or break down crying. i officially hate that website.

Have you ever thought that maybe they don't have someone they can talk to about their problems and that's an outlet and maybe a chance for them to finally talk to someone and maybe get a little help?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love that site, but every time I go on it I want to cry.

This post is so amazingly YYA... I just went on that site... It's all girls that say they are uglier and stupider than their friends... Half of them say they don't want sympathy, but help... but they do want sympathy.... attention whores of the internet right there...

Agreed.

You are right that everyone on there has the same sob story, but then again maybe there's nobody they can talk to. The ones who compare themselves with their friends can be a bit irritating.

I do agree that most of the posts are similiar, but in my opinion this post sounds a little rude... I've posted on there before, and I wasn't looking for sympathy. Some of them might honestly have problems in their life, and other people probably has issues similar. And some people just want to help. Maybe this is why they feel they can't talk to anyone - because some people would treat their problem as unimportant and as just another sob story. Anyways this is just my opinion haha :p

Haha fuck you. (: I'm a guy. And I've even posted on there. Don't make fun of something because you've looked at it an entire two times.

I like reading that site, but i agree, alot of them are just pretty much the same story about being depressed to the point of suicide, or feeling fat and ugly, cutting, or one little compliment saving their life etc.. I mean, i know its sad that there are people out there like that, but that sites pretty much become the depressed version of MLIA.

reading all these negative comments really hurt me. six billion secrets reminds us that we all have similar problems, that we aren't alone. It's an outlet for out misery.

I find it irritating to read at many times. I understand that they are depressed and need help, I've even been there myself, but it is so frustrating to me to read all these stories about these girls lying to their friends and hiding their tears behind smiles and then being sad that no one notices they are hurting inside. They refuse to ask for help, yet they desperately want it. If you want/need help and you have people that will help, just ask... That's what I did three years ago. I understand that I am me and they are them, but it's still frustrating nevertheless.

Don't you think they know that if they asked for help that they would get better? It's hard as fuck to ask for help, no matter how much you want it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So how about when you DO ask for help and they laugh in your face? How are you supposed to just brush that off?

You go to a therapist.

I'm sorry but this just ticks me off. Look, the world today has literally gone off the deep end. People are hurtful to one another for idiotic reasons or for no reason at all. People cut and have low self esteem or get bullied or have never been in a relationship or have been abused. But what gives you the right to criticize this website when these people are getting their emotions and secrets out when they can't do it anywhere else without being ignored more or laughed at? You have no right. Everyone in this God-forsaken world has problems and you don't have any right to mock the ones who have tried to seek help only to be rejected and forced to turn to dangerous activities and telling their problems to complete strangers over the Internet. Make fun of people or things, I don't care. But DO NOT mock those who are hurting. You're just as bad as the people who caused their pain in the first place. Oh yeah, one more thing. I've posted on that website, too. You have no idea what some p...
