Moderately overweight people live just as long as normal weight people: http://www.futurepundit.com/archives/006642.html

It's still nicer to be of an average weight.

This is weird logic. So engaging in any slightly risky behaviour means you don't love yourself? http://www-fars.nhtsa.dot.gov/Main/index.aspx Guess you shouldn't drive, that kills upwards of 30'000 Americans annually. I'm sure you can find other examples.

Not everyone who drives a car is going to die in an car accident. Pretty much everyone with extreme excess fat almost always has bad health and a shorter life. The reason I say extreme fat even though that is not what the post says is because everyone has fat, fat is not unhealthy. The post is talking about cases where it is detrimental to a person's health. Besides that, in some cases being fat can bring down the quality of a person's life. And the reason I no way this post is just because a person doesn't take the effort to exercise and doesn't want to eat healthy or whatever their reason is doesn't mean they don't love them self. Loving yourself doesn't have to mean being the best you could possibly be and doing everything right and taking care of yourself or striving for perfection. It means accepting and loving who you are, and you don't want or have to change any part of you.
