The percentage of people with STDs is actually lowest in the lesbian community. Lower even than among straight people. Gay men are only more likely to get AIDs because it's easier to pass STDs anally.

And straight people have anal sex too. The Christian Democratic Party of Australia want to cut funding to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment because "It's mostly Gay men who have AIDS" : / It makes me sad on so many levels. Actually nearly all of their policies make me sad.

Even if the statistic isn't correct, alot of marriages will end in divorce. So "the sancity of marriage" isn't a valid argument against Gay marriage. Sure Gay people will get divorced too, but it's their right to just like straight people.
