Unless it's the bell for English class, in which case you should be held after class to learn the correct usage of the semicolon.
hahah i have to admit thats pretty funny.... i know im not too good at that i sat there for like 5 minutes trying to decided what to put there then i gave up because I thought no one would actually care but I guess I was wrong.
Win! I was going to correct OP, but not this wittily.
Exactly. I think my teachers really need to learn this and acce... Wait a moment, they do, we don't have bells.
My math teacher has this rule.
Of course, I have her last period. That's when I'm most anxious to leave. . .
I should tell this to some of my teachers.
i did one time and my teacher said "it's an indication to say that the lesson should end but it doesnt have to" and one of my friends said "so that means after luch its an indication to say that you should go to class but you dont have to"
ours is just a big EEEEEEEEEEEEE. its obnoxious.
but this issue was brought to our schools attention and so now the bell does dismiss us, no matter what the teacher says:)
Ours is like a Eeh Eeh, and this year we have like three bells. The 'Eeh Eeh' to release, 'Iih Iih' two minute warning, and a 'beeep' saying class has started for ten minutes and you are not allowed in.
warning bell is bluh bluh bluh and thats all we have other than the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Beep, the beep...not bell.
you have a beep too?!
well mines like ding ding ding but its not like a real bell or anything
You're right. The teacher should get to decide when you have to arrive and when you are late as well. That would be better.
Yeah, I was just turning the post around. The OP meant to suggest that the end of class bell should be as authoritative as the start of class bell. But it could also be interpreted that the start of class bell should be as UNauthoritative as the end of class bell and give the teacher discretion in both instances. If you were to say this to a teacher, that is what they would probably say back, not that I believe that this is the way it should be.
