Sadly, yes. Even the harmless ones... I mean, sure, I hate most bugs - who wants anything creepy-crawling crawling all over you? The only insects that freak me out are prey mantises, because they're just too creepy and odd...but I really don't mind any other bug. Other than stinkbugs. They're just annoying and gross-smelling.

I think not....Ok so a spider isn't an insect but I have a tarantula named Petunia right now and my very first pet when I was six? A tarantula named Spike. I feed my reptiles superworms and mealworms and have no issue with picking them up with my hands.

Once, when I visited India and went to my cousin's home, I was changing clothes and, whilst changing, I felt this little tickle on my leg. I ignored it for a little while until it started to really bother me. When I finally looked down, I'd noticed a cockroach was CRAWLING UP MY LEG and had already reached the top of my knee! I freakin' had a heart attack and started running around the house like a maniac, without my pants on. Ever since then, even the smallest tickles or itches that I get around my body, I flip shit cause I'm scared its another damn little cockroach. So, no, insects are not axe murderers, but little creatures that freakin' scar you for life.
