+514 Amirite is an English teachers dream come true, I mean a site where kids go to read opinions and actually debate through writings, without being forced to? Amirite?

With people correcting one another's grammar no less.

Right? They should assign students to start a discussion on here and then grade them on that!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Except amirite is spelled wrong.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, except half the posts on the homepage are just jokes and puns.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, but the students can bring up important topics and make a post on that

by Anonymous 13 years ago

and most of the posts are about things that are completely trivial such as twilight.

(Your+name+(optional)): I don't remember reading anything on here recently about twilight...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It doesn't necessarily mean Twilight, that's just an example of a trivial post @725729 (Your+name+(optional)): Well there is that, however if students come on here and start a discussion of their own, they can still have a decent and educational conversation. It would open up a new demography of amirite users.

they'd most likely get distracted by the puny posts.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hah, never thought about that way before! I totally just want to email me teacher now and tell her about it. :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You should! As a matter of fact, everyone should!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That'd make amirite turn into a yahoo questions thing then :/ killing the joy.
