+505 Learning to lucid dream would be beyond phenomenal, amirite?

I've heard some creepy shit though, like on threads on 4chan they'd start talking about the devil and hallucinations, but maybe that was just to make people miss out.

No no no, that's Sleep Paralisys(sp?). Completely different thing.

Um, no. I actually have had a couple lucid dreams ever since I started reading about it, and I'm only 14, so anybody can do it. Also, no, I've never experienced the "devil and hallucinations" thing you're speaking of. Never trust 4chan. Lucid dreaming is actually quite fun, and I've never had to follow all those steps they tell you to. If you do have a lucid dream, and you start to wake up, spin around. It really does help! xD

how do u lucid dream?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've had a few before...but..theres a technique to it..even though i dont remember using a technique..sometimes it just happens without you realizing it...but the vocalist for Creed actually knew how to do that and their breakthrough song Higher was based on it...

I have many lucid dreams and they are very fun. It's safe too. The only thing is, I always become lucid at the last minute of my dream, or I lose lucidity, but sometimes when I wake up from a lucid dream, I start to have an obe, but i always get nervous and move so i don't have one even though they are cool and safe. If you don't know what an obe is, look it up on google, don't really feel like explaining it.

It just means out of body experience...not too dificult

I've had one, I got an iron man suit, and I flew around the desert. It was epic.

One time when I was seven, my mom drove me to school in the morning, and all I remember is having a very vivid dream about robots, but having my eyes wide open and still processing everything at the same time. It was pretty freaky.

That is called day dreaming.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'd don't think so. It was 6 am and I had five hours of sleep the previous night. I remember being extremely tired but also confused when I started dreaming. What does it matter to you, anyways?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know what that was, but it isn't lucid dreaming.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've been lucid dreaming ever since... ever. Usually, I gain lucidity right before or after I wake up. If it's after, I fall back asleep and continue my dream lucid-like.

Most the time I have regular dreams... but at the end I always figure out I'm dreaming. It's either how I look or what's happening. Whenever I figure it out, the people in my dream say, "NO!" and they try to deny it. If I'm positively sure, they try to kill me. XD I always just punch them and do what I want. One time, I gave bloody mary a beatdown. Yeaaah. That's what she gets for haunting childhood dreams, bitch.

Finally I understand what lucid dreaming is. Yeah, they're awesome.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think I had one like two or three times...I just wish I could do it every night

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've done it a couple times, but I had to consentrate so hard. It's awesome when you get it, though

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Usually I just stay in bed for a little bit after i wake up... And I fall like half-asleep and aslong as I don't roll over or open my eyes then I can have a lucid dream

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People who commented saying that they become lucid right before or after they wake up, and then fall asleep dreaming in a lucid state, that's not lucid dreaming. When you think you fall back asleep, you're really just say dreaming with your eyes closed. Lucid dreaming means you have full control of what goes on in your dream, and the dream is in first person, not in third, like you're watching yourself in a movie or something. I think it would be awesome but extremely dangerous at the same time. if we learned how to control our dreams we would never want to wake up or get reality mixed up with our dreams...since we do control our real lives as well. Anyways I've never had a lucid dream. And I'm sorta glad I didn't because I like having dreams that mean something. Some dreams can hold prophecies for the future and it's happened to me many times as I'm sure happened to almost eveyone.

Lucid dreaming is probably the safest thing you can do

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're crazy. They're not dangerous, and they don't have meaning. I had one, I went around flying and having sex with everyone I wanted to. Learn what lucid dreaming is, why don't you?
