No one has proposed building a Mosque near ground zero. Even if they did, why would we stoop to the level of Saudi Arabia? We're better then that.

You do know that there are Christians and Jews living in Saudi Arabia, now and during the Prophet Mohammad's time. The only reason why there arent any Non-muslims allowed in the premises of Mecca is because (according to my research), before Prophet Mohammad died, the entire population of Mecca became Muslim. Right after he died, they decided that they wanted to keep it that way due to the family members of Prophet Mohammad that lived in Madina would enter Mecca dressed as Muslims and start poisoning and killing the Muslims and threatening to burn the Holy Ka'bah. They would come gathered in armies and try enslaving the women, kill the men and bury (alive) the children. Thats probably why. Its 2010. Right after Everybody Draw Mohammad day, Burn the Koran day, and all these protests on the ground zero COMMUNITY CENTER. Can you imagine a bunch of trolls entering mecca with pig heads and matches? I can.

Hold up. A group of Muslims took down the towers and...even though it wasn't a group this logic says that its okay to not let muslims in. ;)

If ALL the Muslims in the entire world squished up in a freaking plane and crashed the twin towers then id understand. But it was a small group of mislead people. Besides, Mecca is the place where Muslims from all around the world come to worship, once in a lifetime.It so sacred and holy. Go on youtube, search Mecca/Makkah prayer, or whatever. You'll see how dedicated they look. I once heard from a Muslim man that when they enter Mecca, its as though the world has been forgotten, its just you and your lord. And the reason why they dress the same? So you cant tell the difference between a King and a peasant. All are equal in God's eyes. But, its ignorant fucks like you who cant accept anything. 9/11 is NOT a Muslim act. And never will be. If i dressed up as a cat and told everyone i WAS a cat...would you believe me? That argument makes absolutely no sense. First of all, there is no mosque being built near Ground Zero. Secondly, Ground Zero is NOT holy ground. That's like telling them to build a mosque in the Vatican. We don't ask you to because we respect your religion. And Muslims believe in Christianity as well so I don't know why you're being such an idiot about it. You make Christians look pretty ignorant. Lucky I know better. Lastly, Mecca is not all of Saudi Arabia, so don't equate. Saudi is just a Muslim country. Mecca is holy for ALL Muslims. Any other Muslim country has plenty of churches alongside mosques. I live in a Muslim country (Egypt) that has a huge Christian population and a lot of the time when a mosque is built, a church is built alongside and vice versa. I have had Christian best friends since kindergarten, and once again, I live in a MUSLIM country, so don't preach to us about intolerance. You're the ones claiming to accept all religions.
