-102 A poem is never finished, only abandoned, amirite?

That's hauntingly beautiful, but idk if it's completely correct and applicable to all poems. Also, the same could be said about books. The tale or poem is over when the author decides. But technically a billion other novels could be made to detail every character's life after the original novel, and a billion other lines could be written in addition to the poem. However, the author of each chooses to conclude at the point at which they do.

Alfred Hitchcock said that about films.
