+803 You feel kind of left out when you see statuses posted on facebook about how much fun a group of people had together and they didn't invite you, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahaha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Such is the threat of Facebook.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Explain, please?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, with Facebook, it's like eavesdropping. You learn things you never wanted to know.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's just awkward when you see it plastered all over your news feed, you know?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ya

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She's right. That's what I meant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ok.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

One time I was with a group of friends and they were still like "Oh yeah I had fun with you guys, especially 'blah blah'" and they forgot my name

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't you feel like "Oh yeah, forget about me. Thankss..."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

mhm totally I was like -.-

FACEBOOK: Lowering your self esteem with every post!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Especially when they rub it in your face later.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uh huh. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Especially when they're made by your best friend(s). This happened to me almost every other day this summer...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? Most people I know are basically hanging out with the same person EVERY day in the summer. Like they almost literally live there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Goddd I know how you feel. I was so depressed this summer because all of my friends hung out without me on a daily basis.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I understand. My one best friend, who I've know for maybe eight years, hung out with this other girl almost every day in the summer. And I was actually excited for summer this year because we had planned to hang out so often. Instead, I hung out with her maybe four or five times, while she hung out with her other friend maybe three times a week.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Right?! It was EXACTLY the same for me. My best friend did the same thing. Plus my friends would all hang out together, and IF they mentioned me (which was on very rare occasions) one of them told me they would be like "what's her problem? shes so antisocial..." like, jeez, I don't know. Maybe it's because you guys have been ignoring me all summer and doing everything without me!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay, I definitely know how you feel. My friends all that I like to be alone, which really, is the exact opposite of what I would prefer. Have you ever tried being sour towards your friends when it's been weeks after they've hung out with you? I do, all the time. Then they get suspicious, and I chicken out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ugh, yes! I do the same thing! And sometimes they notice and crack jokes like, "someone's pmsing..." and I'm just thinking, ohhh man. I'm going to kill you. I think our friends suck.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Definitely. There was one time at the beginning of August, I finally planned to go to the mall with my friend because she had a day off of band camp that saturday. So I went to her house on Friday so she could upload a few songs to my Ipod, and I asked her if she still wanted to go. Turns out, she, after having made plans to hang out with ME, forgot about me completely and had made plans to hang out with her other friend. She also forgot about my birthday this year.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OH my gosh! What a bitch! That's so awful :((

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know. I have lunch with her this year. And on my birthday, about fifteen minutes into lunch, she tells me I should go to the football game that night. And of course, I say I can't, so when she asks why I can't, I tell her it's because it's my birthday. And then SHE starts crying about it because she felt guilty she had forgotten. Of course I didn't want to cry, since it was my birthday, and I deserved to at least be a bit happy.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wowwww she really sucks. She SHOULD feel guilty for forgetting. She sounds like a terrible friend.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't even care if she's been my friend for seven years, she IS the worst friend I've got. I can hardly even keep a conversation going with her now. So, how are your crappy "friends"?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wait do you mean that in a sarcastic way?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nah, unfortunately, I'm 100% serious

by Anonymous 13 years ago

have either of u guys ever confronted ur friends about this? if not, u should. ik its not fun, but u might end up working things out and saving urselves more pain in the long run

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh ok. its just harder to recgonize sarcasm over text. haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you need better friends

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hell yeah I do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

…maybe that's why they didn't invite you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Mature much? ;D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My friend came to visit me while I was at my grandparents for a couple weeks during the summer. When she went back (I had to still stay there), someone threw her a surprise 'welcome home' party, and then everyone that we knew was there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah my best friend invited people to go to pizza hut and then when i asked her about it she tried to play it off and say that it was just for our friend that was moving. yeah right then why did invite other ppl?
