I think OP meant more of the fact that these kids pretend to be saints and holier-than-thou type people. It doesn't apply to every youth group kid who wears a purity ring. and that "being bad" doesn't only apply to the christian kids either, they are just the ones who are hiding behind the rings and the symbolic innocence of church. and yeah the kids in the christian club at my school are the ones who are always out getting completed smashed and pregnant on the weekends.

Christian people aren't perfect and a true Christian isn't going to say they are, regardless of whether they go to Sunday school, Church, or wear rings. A sin's a sin.
