Incorrect comma usage.
You may also want to consider using capital letters when appropriate.
Also, if you Google the word "geeze," you will be asked, "Did you mean geez?" Jeez is another accepted spelling.
And besides, amirite jokes aren't funny when their grammar is atrocious.
I think (but I'm not sure because the post has so many errors) that they meant to write "geese." Like the bird. The "S" and "Z" keys are close on the keyboard.
well ive never seen it spelled that way, and if u have to say usally, then it can be used either way, soo dont correct me just to be cool, when really your not techincally right.
Except the point of the post is to convey ideas intelligently so that people will agree with you, or disagree if they so wish. If you make a grammar or spelling error every other word, it will almost never be an intelligent statement. When's the last time you saw "i did rly good on r partikle fisics test"
Except that it is these very people losing points on their SATs because they use it's instead of its and not getting into a good college and then dropping out because they feel stupid anyways. Then they go on to become a cashier at a supermarket until they turn 40, when they get promoted to manager and start making 10 dollars an hour. I'm only trying to help people.
Good grammar/spelling is useful in all areas of life. I can't stand the arguments that say, "Oh, it's just the internet." Well, yeah, but you have a full keyboard at your command, it shouldn't be that much of a hassle to at least make an attempt to type correctly. I only correct the ones that "tipe leik dis."
Honestly, 99% of the grammar nazi's on this site correct you in the bitchiest of ways. Whenever someone corrects me i feel like saying that i don't need to correct people's insignificant grammatical errors over the internet to prove that I am smart.
Helping people and acting annoying are two different things. There is a point where it becomes bitchy and rude (telling someone to capitalize the first letters of their sentences). I do agree, however, that people need to sound educated in their posts.
I lack the faith in humanity to think that 99% of the grammar nazis are correcting people just to "help them."
There's an age limit for the internet? :P
My two year old cousin is allowed on the internet... There's parent-control things, but I think her older sister can bypass them... :P
This is a website, I am not the only person who doesn't put capital letters, or correct spelling, or correct punuaction. You people don't need to comment on it and nag me about it, what the heck. Im sure i could go look at your posts and see something that needs to be correcteed so leave me alone
Too bad dictionaries don't tell you if you wrote something wrong....
Now if we were defining things for you, that'd be different.
Woot. :]
Oooh.
Sounds kinky. ;]

My God, did you skip grades 2-6th? Jesus Christ....
I prefer 'Gee whiz!' as a substitute. I believe it's more acceptable. The accuracy of 'geeze' is questionable.

I am a grammar "Nazi", but I actually do it to HELP people. You know, hopefully let them know that something is the correct spelling.
Plus, you should really expect people who are old enough to be on the internet to have decent grammar and spelling.
