Also, back before all these medical doo-dads people got sick a heck of a lot less due to the exposure to germs and diseases, thus creating strong immune systems. If we cure cancer, another disease could come along and be even worse! How would that be fun?

I have a mixed opinion about this post. I agree that it would help lead to those things, but I can also imagine that I wouldn't give a shit if I or someone I knew dearly had cancer.
