(Ms amber 626): Why does everyone say that D=
by Anonymous13 years ago
I was about to say that. You beat me to it :S

It's just a damn dog. Get over it.

I don't have a pet, but I know what it feels like to lose one. I had a dog for a month. Then I had to give it away when I moved. It was really bad on me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Same for me. I only had for a week, actually, and he was amazing. I was crying for days and I still get sad when I think of him:(

I think losing a family member is a pretty similar feeling.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I think losing a family member is a lot worse.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No, because if a relitive passes away and you didn't see them too often it's not going to be as bad as the dog/cat (or any other anima) you see everyday for several years.
by Anonymous13 years ago
He didn't say "relative you don't see very often". Even so I'd wager that losing someone in your family is worse.
by Anonymous13 years ago
A family member is definitely worse but i was just saying its a similar feeling.
by Anonymous13 years ago
ok
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't have that problem, I keep my pets nice and tight.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I voted 'yes' on this yesterday; my cat died today.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That sucks so much... I'm really sorry to hear this :(
by Anonymous13 years ago
Psh it doesn't hurt that much. I've had pets, they died. I didn't really care, and I still don't:P
by Anonymous13 years ago
My dogs about to die. I'd care a lot more if she died than anyone else. It's a kind of bond that you can't explain.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It does hurt. When you take care of an animal- no matter how long- that animal trusts you. When they die or get seriously hurt or sick, you feel like you have betrayed their trust. The bond between the pet and their owner is a strong one.
