The anime is shit. I hate people who instantly hate when they've only watched the anime. It sucks! The manga WAS awesome but after Sasuke killed Danzo the whole thing went down hill because Kishi-sensei is totally sick of writing all this. But it's still really really good if you would try READING it from the beginning! Besides, you get the best roleplays out of Naruto because there's so many characters, side characters, speculations, and side stories.

I gotta say, I'm probably more neutral. I'm not a big fan of either one, but I've read up to volume 21 in both manga series and I like Bleach's fight scenes a lot more and the characters tend to be way more awesome. The Naruto manga has vague fight scenes and a ton of flashbacks, but at least it treats most of the characters with dignity. Bleach has too many lame female characters, they're all pretty cool in some way though. Too much filler in both of the animes. And what the heck is the religion in Bleach anyway? What's with all the plot holes? It's in Japan, so you'd assume it's Buddhist or Shinto, but they have a hell and a place good people go when they die. They say they can't age and don't need food, yet people can get sick and Rukia and Renji aged from little kids to adults and people can still die in the soul society, even though they're all supposed to be dead already. What the heck?!

it really depends on your taste. I like Naruto better just because it was my first manga and through it i made a lot of best friends that i still have after 4 years. but Bleach still has an actual plot that's worth my time. All books have plot holes so analyzing both series' is pointless and i think they're both equal after looking at the ups and downs of each. Again: it's all on taste. Kakashi is my favorite manga/anime character of ALL TIME but Grimmjow and Ulquiorra are definitely in my top 5.

The Save Rukia arc of Bleach was amazing and it probably outshined Naruto. But after that, with the Hueco Mundo arc, and the crappy fillers that interrupt the real storyline, Bleach just went downhill while Shippuuden was a huge improvement to Naruto. Also, Bleach has a less sustainable plotline and is less meaningful than Naruto. However, out of the Big Three, One Piece is light years ahead of both Bleach and Naruto and also of many other anime.

I prefer naruto, but I can't really say it's better since I've read every chapter of naruto except the new one that came out yesterday but I've only read the first two volumes of bleach.

Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Code Geass, and One Piece are way better. Bleach and Naruto are just rip offs of Dragon Ball Z with slightly cleaner animation. There is a hero who is trying to be the best and protect the world. Bleach especially doesn't make sense, no one ever dies and Ichigo has NO reason to fight he's just doing it save the world.

Naruto's plot and characters are all interesting in their own way. The plot keeps you wanting to see what happens next. The fight scenes are amazing and its awesome to see what technique the character uses next. In the end, Naruto is a great manga/anime and its understandable as to why its one of the biggest anime/manga of all time.
