lolololol did you just say that pokemon takes strategy? It's basically guessing which pokemon the other opponent is going to switch too, what moveset it has, what item it holds, and furthermore. There is no strategy outside making your team.

That takes the fun out of the game. Sure, if you battle online, then i understand, but to play the main game like that would be boring.

I mean competitive ya. But for the main story, any reasonable team works. Look at monotype runs, nuzlocke runs, single-specie runs, etc.
