I've never FINISHED Clue ever. My family always decides they'd rather do other things.

It's a board game where you have to gather clues to solve a murder. You have to guess the killer, as well as the murder weapon and which room it took place in.

Assuming Clue is another name for Cluedo, how do you get that right? It's not a guessing game. You cross off items on your lists until you're left with the three you use in your accusation. If you guess wrong, I think you're out of the game.

I think they were meaning on your first turn when you're still trying to cross stuff off, my sister made a random guess once and none of us had the cards so she won immediately

But when you do that, you have to say "I suggest...", and then another player must show you any of the cards. Then if they don't have any, you can make an accusation in your next turn. To make an official accusation, you have to say "I accuse..." and check in the envelope. Your rules could be different though.

We play that on the same turn you can suggest something and then if you figure it out then you can accuse, so in the case of my sister on her first turn she had a few things crossed out from the cards she had and then she picked randomly from the ones she didn't have and suggested that, nobody showed her any cards so then she said "I accuse..." and won the game.
